The development phase of a documentary on two Filipino immigrant inventors and entrepreneurs that helped popularize the yo-yo in the United States. The experience of these immigrant entrepreneurs will be used to explore larger issues related to the Filipino migration experience in general. In this phase of the project the Director will conduct research about the proceedings of Duncan v Royal Tops (1965) at the National Archive Records Administration, prepare a trailer for fundraising and develop a script.
