A film festival of viewings and discussions led by film scholars and an interdisciplinary conference focusing on several aspects of American film and popular culture of the mid-twentieth century. Through the festival, audiences will learn of the work of EIU alumnus William Phipps, who appeared in INVADERS FROM MARS and WAR OF THE WORLDS as well as RIOT IN CELL BLOCK 11.
