A series of conferences, readings and dialogues on cultural and political issues related to the Latino communities in Chicago. Activities for April and May include a panel on censorship in literature to be held at Loyola University; a conference on popular music in Puerto Rico at UIC; a panel on Chicago Latino Poets at Roosevelt University; a panel on Latino Workers and the novel "The Jungle" at DePaul; and a lecture and presentation on Latino poetry in the diaspora to be held at the University of Chicago. Two issues of the magazine will be dedicated to the contents of these activities.
