The Illinois Association of Museums will host its annual workshop in the Quad Cities, in association with the Association of Midwest Museums, and the Iowa Museum Association. The conference will provide training for those who care for our state's heritage and gives Illinois museum staff and volunteers access to a greater and more diverse opportunity for professional development. Its keynote speaker this year, will be the eminent historian John Hope Franklin.
