A series of activities that will take place from December of 2006 to May of 2007 exploring the general theme of education and knowledge. These programs -a seminar, a film series, an oral history collection and a public forum- will examine personal learning experiences; the relationship between education and race, culture, gender and class; and the role of formal and informal education among other topics.Quotes from audience members attending the "How We Learn: Building an Educated City" panel discussion:
