Three projects that will build on the Newberry Library's successful 2006 exhibition exploring Nahua life after the Spanish conquest: Aztecs and the Making of Colonial Mexico. The Library will develop an electronic catalog of the exhibition which will be part of the Newberry website and which will be presented with two public events: a workshop on using the library's resources on the Nahua and a festival of films produced by indigenous filmmakers of Mexico.
