Thousand Waves Martial Arts and Self-Defense Center is presenting a series of programs dealing with different forms of social violence. The activities include panels on "Religion as a Source for Activism", "Children and Violence", "Reparations for Slavery" and "Healing and Reconciliation: From the Personal to the Political". The panelists include activists and social service professionals in combination with scholars of philosophy and political science as well as theologians.
