John L. Fascia

is CEO and President of Phoenix International, Ltd. a company, which he founded, that manufactures and distributes advanced hazardous liquid absorbents. In addition, he is a consultant to commercial, industrial and government organizations in emergency management, security operations, intelligence, executive protection and hazardous material safety, spill control, and emergency response. Fascia has a formal education in engineering management, military science, and international studies. He received a B.A. degree from Northeastern Illinois University and advanced degrees from the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College and the prestigious U.S. Army War College. He is a retired member of the Illinois Army National Guard with the rank of Brigadier General. Fascia is past Chairman of the Chicago Chapter of the American Society for Industrial Security, and also past Chairman of the Mid-West Security Conference. In addition to these organizations, he is a member of the Association of Former Intelligence Officers, the Alumni Association of the U.S. Army War College, the Military Order of World Wars, the National Strategy Forum, the National Guard Association of Illinois, and the International Press Club. Fascia also serves as Chairman of the Board for Grace Mission, an inner city ministry in the city of Chicago, the Department of Defense National Committee for Employers Support of the Guard and Reserve, and Chairman of the Illinois Masonic Foundation.
