Rolf A. Thienemann

is Vice President of Furst Transitions, an outplacement counseling service in Rockford, IL. Prior to joining Furst, he was President and General Manager of Muller-Pinehurst Dairy. Active in community affairs, Thienemann was an elected Rockford Park District Commissioner for 19 years and President of that organization for eight years. He was a community director of National City Bank-Rockford. He served on the governance committee of Rockford Health Systems and served as a trustee of the Community Foundation of Northern Illinois. He is a past president of the Rockford Rotary Club and the Rockford Symphony Orchestra as well as a founding board member of Rockford's New American Theater and the Rockford Dance Company. Thienemann currently is a director of the Rockford Park District Foundation and the Burpee Museum of Natural History (former Chairman of the Board). He is a graduate of Beloit College and is married to Maggie, who is an artist. They have three grown children.
