Stuart Flack
is the Executive Director of the Chicago Humanities Festival and an award-winning playwright whose work has been produced across the country. He is a former Principal at McKinsey & Company, Inc. and former Publisher of The McKinsey Quarterly, a leading management journal with print circulation of 92,000 and web circulation of 1.8 million. Prior to joining McKinsey in 1990, Flack was an Associate Editor and a reporter at Forbes Magazine and a Senior Editor at Corporate Finance Magazine. He is on the board of the Chapin Hall Center for Children and has done consulting projects with the boards of the MacArthur Foundation and the Victory Gardens Theater. He is a two-time recipient of MacDowell Colony fellowships. Flack earned a B.A. from Cornell University and an M.F.A from Columbia University School of the Arts.
