ILLINOIS HUMANITIES COUNCIL CONDUCTS SPRING BOARD MEETING AT THE MUSEUM OF SCIENCE AND INDUSTRY

CHICAGO - The Illinois Humanities Council (IHC) Board of Directors will hold its spring board meeting at the Museum of Science and Industry on Friday, April 26, 2002. The board will convene at 9:00 a.m. in the Columbian Room, Special Events Center of the Museum of Science and Industry.Items on the agenda for this meeting include a review of major grant proposals and the election of new board members and officers.
In addition, IHC Board and staff will have the opportunity to tour the Museum of Science and Industry and its exhibits. Following the Board meeting will be a Board dinner that will honor board members completing their terms. Currently, 32 members comprise the Illinois Humanities Council Board of Directors. They are:
