Farhat Haq earned a PhD in Political Science and teaches at Monmouth College. Over the past 15 years, she has given numerous presentations for local clubs, schools, churches, colleges and universities. She has participated in four NEH summer seminars on topics of comparative religion, nationalism, human rights and the origin of Islam.Living Islam
In this multimedia program, Dr. Farhat Haq combines her lived experience of being a Muslim American with scholarship on the relationship between Islam and politics to highlight the diversity, and plurality, within the Muslim World.
