Dennis Cremin
Dennis Cremin holds a PhD in History from Loyola University Chicago and has taught at College of DuPage, Joliet Junior College, Loyola University Chicago, North Central College, and is currently Assistant Professor at Lewis University. He has also served as the Historian and Director of Research and Public Programs for the National Trust for Historic Preservation’s Gaylord Building in Lockport, Illinois.Reading the Landscape: The Illinois & Michigan Canal National Heritage Corridor
This program highlights the exciting and often overlooked role of the Illinois & Michigan Canal in national and state history. Ranging from the earliest days of the state’s history to its role as the nation’s first National Heritage Corridor, this program provides an historical overview that investigates this rich and varied landscape.
